We all sat in the way back, like the bad kids on the bus.
The wedding programs were super cute. With each of the bridesmaids and groomsmen writing little blurbs for the couple.
Matt's went like this: "B.R.A.D., B-RAD, BRAD. Trustworthy, Fun, Dependable, Talented, Smart, and Hardworking. If I wasn't so awesome I would want to be you."
The room was suuuuper dark and goth-y feeling. So I apologize for the crap-quality of my photos.
Super super dark.
The whole ceremony was presided over by Matt's little brother Ian, who provided the perfect blend of jokey humor mixed with Christlove.
Example: Ian - "I know Bradlito as the drummer, the learner, the worker, the friend, and as a brother in Christ."
He gave a really heartfelt officiation...(is that a word?)...and at times was himself choking back tears and struggling to complete sentences. (You may remember him barely making it through Matt & Kelli's wedding ceremony...)
It was beautiful.
That is...until everyone fell asleep.
I kid! I kid! They were PRAYING!
I hope the official photographer got better pictures than I did. It really was so dark in there.
I think my favorite part of any wedding is cocktail hour.
For the wine, yes.
But moreso for the Whores De Orves!!!!
My favorites were the Southwestern Eggrolls, Steak Sliders, and Bruschettas.
Yummy!
I was really happy that none of the other groomsmen or groomwives really knew anyone else at the wedding except each other. We kind of just stuck to our little group the whole day.
Basically we just sat in the corner and made fun of people.
Like, Jesus Christ on a cross, how many times do we have to tell Grandma to NOT steal Callie's thunder???
Table 16 was where it was at!
The black/red rose motif was really cool. The color scheme paired with all the supermodels really made it seem like we were at a vampire wedding.
Callie has really awesome taste.
The sun was scorching and it was HOT.
But so was everyone! Me LOVES me a FIERCE L.A. wedding!!!!
Callie and Bradley had their first dance to Brad Paisley's "Then".
They were adorable.
(As was my table-mate, Ashley.)
Beautiful!
The groomsmen worked the room...
And then we sat down to eat.
It was seriously SO HOT the waiters were sweating all over our food.
Mmmmm sweatlettuce.
MMMMMmmm beeflog and ham-stuffed chicken aka Barnyard Surprise!
It was so good. I cleared my plate like the fatty that I am.
AND THEN someone discovered the PHOTO BOOTH!!!!
We made a beeline for it.
So much fun.
Finally I put down my pro-cam and broke out the partycam and dancing started.
Dancing...and fierce posing.
Brad's wedding ring was made of black diamond. Pretty incredible. Better without the flash.
Did I mention there was a photo booth?
The cake, too, was beautiful.
Garter toss...
More dancing. Lots of it with my new best friend.
Callie "shook it like a polaroid picture"....
And then there was cake.
The End.
Faaaabulous wedding.
